Can anyone give a ferret a home? Friend of a friend is looking to give her ferret away due to circumstances beyond her control (fucking condo management). This poor little guy will be homeless as of October 29th, so it's a bit of an emergency. He's got all his shots and he's only 9 months old!

I have two girls, so I don't think he's a good fit with us, otherwise I'd take him in myself. I'm tempted to tell this woman that if she can't find a home I'll be the foster owner til *I can find him a home, but I'm afraid she'll stop looking for a permanent home if I say that. So I'm going to try to find him a permanent home first.

If you've been thinking about getting a ferret but thought it was too expensive, now's the time to be one of the cool kids for free. Ferrets are really rewarding and easy-to-care-for pets, despite the myths. They don't stink so long as you keep their litterbox clean and give them a "bath" with cleaning spray (or soap and water) every few weeks. I have two ferrets in my 16x14' bedroom and it smells perfectly fine.

Let's find Nacho a home!
